Guishan-Guanyin-of-the-Thousand-Hands-and-Eyes

When Miaoshan’s father begs for forgiveness, she shows him mercy and
is at once transformed into the Thousand Armed Guanyin. At once she is transported
to the pure land of bliss, the fragrant mountain, where she hears and responds
to the cries of others.
In some areas Guanyin is depicted not as a goddess with many arms and
faces, but as a maiden carrying a basket of fish basket. Fishermen pray
to her for a successful catch and for a safe voyage. In other depictions
she is standing on top of a dragon and sometimes flanked by two children.
