Where there is promise there is also risk. In every birth, in every loving relationship, in every hoped for success, there is risk. Heart-pounding, hand-wringing, gut-wrenching risk. The ongoing Big Birth is full of joys, sorrows, glories, mercies, wonders, terrors and wildness. The process of making all things new is anything but comforting.
The super new, futuring God comes to light through our efforts to seek justice, our desire to love and build peace, our communion with one another and all creation. The brightest supernova takes place in the greatest darkness, the weakest point, the deepest space. The universe is dramatically on the move drawing us incessantly, inexorably into what has always been expected, the fullness of being.
